Water Projects:
Fall Branch
Water Line Upgrades

Cost Estimate:

$900,000

Stage of Development:

Project is complete.

Description:
This project consisted of replacing two aging lines along Highway 93 in Fall Branch and upgrading all existing galvanized lines along the downtown area. We installed 13,000 ft of 8” ductile iron, 7,000 ft of 6” ductile iron, and over 10,000 ft of 2” PVC. We also installed a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) vault on Highway 93 to more reliably serve the area. The area was previously served by two separate PRV’s which were prone to failure. These upgrades will also provide more reliable fire protection.
