Brush Line
Due to the overwhelming
amount  of brush and yard  debris out for pickup throughout the City, we are implementing an every other week pickup schedule.  The grabber trucks can only pick up two grabs at each residence. See schedule and Hotline information.

Totals for KuPuFu Week
A record 606 tons of trash was collected this year during KuPuFu Week. This tops our previous record of 518 tons in 1999. Thanks to everyone who participated. We'd also like to send a special thanks to the following people:

  • James Williams of Eastman Chemicals
  • Peggy Gilliam of BAE Systems
  • James Bear, Kevin Cole, and John Clevlar of Quebcor
  • Claude Riner of Weyerhaeuser
  • Andrew Pullen of AFG

Each of these area businesses provided trucks and these drivers to help in our mission to clean up Kingsport!
