Changes to Garbage Routes
Due to changes in how the drivers will be running their routes we ask that you have your garbage out to the curb no later than 7:00am.
 

The City of Kingsport provides garbage collection for over sixteen thousand households in the corporate limits. Our trucks run from Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Please put all your garbage in the container the city provides for you. If you need an additional container, please call (423)229-9451, or e-mail us . We also ask that you set them next to your curb no sooner than 24 hours before the day of your pick-up.

If you have carboard to be picked up, please add it into the container. If you have a large appliance or furniture box, call our office at (423)229-9451, or e-mail us , and we'll make arrangements to have it picked up.
 

We do not pick up the following items:

Batteries
Paint and Paint Products
Butane and Gas Tanks
Dead Animals
Hazardous Liquid or Materials
Infectious Materials
