City of Kingsport Public Works - Employee of the Month

Marty Baker is our first Employee of the Month of the New Year. Marty has been with the City of Kingsport since 1989. He’s worked on the Tree Maintenance Crew for all that time. Marty has just recently returned from 18 months of active duty - a year of which he spent in Iraq. We’re glad to have him home.

Marty has a wife and 2 kids. His main hobby is playing the drums. From what we hear, his family is so glad to have him home, they don’t even complain when he drums until the wee hours of the morning.
